February 5 – Royal Caribbean has long been part of Miami’s DNA for decades, so it comes as no surprise that a partnership with the FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee has been cemented.
The Ocean giant has been named as the Official Miami World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter.
“As a leading vacation brand shaped by this city’s unstoppable energy for more than 50 years, Royal Caribbean is proud to serve as the first Official Miami Host City Supporter for the FIFA World Cup 2026,” said Chairman and CEO Jason Liberty.
With the tournament set to generate what he described as “once-in-a-generation momentum across South Florida,” Liberty said the company was excited to bring its “spirit of innovation and hospitality” to welcoming fans from around the world.
Royal Caribbean will be the main sponsor at the FIFA Fan Festival Miami with an interactive fan zone activation.
The Fan Festival will be staged at Bayfront Park, over 23 days of the tournament. For the Host Committee, the partnership is about projecting Miami’s identity on a global stage.
“This partnership celebrates what makes Miami a Host City like no other,” said Rodney Barreto, Co-Chair of the FIFA World Cup 26 Miami Host Committee. “We are bringing in one of the biggest brands in hospitality to represent Miami for what it’s known for — innovation as a world-class destination.”
Barreto added that the collaboration is about more than spectacle. “Together, we’re creating fan experiences that are meaningful, while strengthening Miami’s role as a destination where culture, sport, and community come together.”
As the price for Fan Fest experiences rises around the country, the opportunity to share the costs is driving host committees to look for ever more creative ways to collaborate with local partners who share the same space.
