February 11 – US media giant, Fox, has locked in a new multi-year broadcast deal for the Bundesliga across Mexico and Central America, starting in the 2026–27 season and running through to 2030–31.
All 306 league matches plus the German Super Cup and the promotion-relegation playoffs. It’s wall-to-wall coverage and will be spread across FOX’s main linear channel, its Fox One OTT platform, and the free, ad-supported streamer Tubi, with both English and Spanish commentary. There’s also shoulder programming coming via the Bundesliga Americas Studio in Guadalajara.
For the Bundesliga, any traction to compete with the English Premier League is a win. “By combining our content studio in Guadalajara and the great platform FOX provides, the Bundesliga is speaking directly to Mexican fans every day: in their language, in their football culture,” said Bundesliga Americas executive vice-president Robin Austermann.
Fox is no stranger within the region, and its Mexico operation already holds rights to Liga MX, Liga MX Femenil, the UEFA Champions League, Concacaf Champions Cup, Coppa Italia, Ligue 1, and the Premier League.
“This agreement with the Bundesliga reinforces our vision of offering one of the strongest and most relevant international football portfolios in the market,” said Luis Maldonado, Fox’s executive director for acquisitions and marketing in Latin America.
With the 2026 World Cup heading to Mexico, the US, and Canada, Fox is piggybacking elite European football onto a once-in-a-generation tournament moment.
